This photo shows just how large this piece is.

This is the cut stained glass laying on the pattern waiting to be leaded.  If you blow up this picture, you will notice that each stained glass piece is numbered with a number and color code to match the pattern.  Once the fireplace screen is assembled all the numbers will be cleaned off .

Now that the stained glass pieces have been leaded and framed, the last thing to do to this middle panel is to cement it along the lead lines and paint the zinc frame with a  black high gloss rustolium paint.  As you see here it needs to dry for 8 to 12 hours before handling.

This side panel is in the process of being leaded and framed.

Now that the side panel has been leaded and framed it is time to cement the stained glass along the lead lines so it will dry and become strong.  The next thing to do is to paint the zinc frame.

This stained glass panel has now been painted and will sit for a few hours to dry.

The finished stained glass panel has now been attached to the middle panel with a piano hinge.
